Who we are, the faces behind the names

Stuart has been a season ticket holder since 2011 and has thoroughly enjoyed ever minute of every game. Proud Seagulls was started as I wanted to make the LGBTQ+ more visible and to have a stronger voice in denouncing discrimination.

Liz Costa & the late Sarah Watts were the catalyst of ALL the LGBTQ+ fan groups we see today. Thank you.

Simon & his whole family have been lifelong Albion supporters and have been through the good and bad times. He was one of the first people to reach out to me when I started the group. He has been part of Brighton Pride with the club since our first invite. He was with me at our first Arsenal away match, where he scored a goal against Matt Lucas! 

Tristan again is a lifelong Albion supporter. And when he's not following the team you can find him on stage in his various comedy routines. He also and successfully writes plays and dramas. He has also been apart of the group since the beginning and has loved taking part in Brighton Pride with the club.
